What we do

Mensch Made produces interior products and accessories with respect for people and planet. Collaborating with cutting edge Dutch designers we combine experiment with stylish design, craftsmanship with technology and high quality materials with modest looks.

Our philosphy

Every product has a front-end and a back-end. The front-end is what you see and feel. The back-end is the way this product has been made; who made it, where, from what material and under which circumstances. We at Mensch Made believe design should be just as beautiful from the back-end as from the front-end.

Odessa, sturdy leather bag

This practical zip-top attaché style bag has an opening large enough to accommodate a 15 inch computer. The handsome sturdy brown leather bag has two strong handles, as well as a long leather strap if you prefer to sling it over your shoulder. All our bags are made by a small Bulgarian workshop from leather remnants from former production runs. In this way the workshop has new orders, the left over leather that would otherwise have been thrown away has been given new value and we can offer our clients beautiful, affordable leather bags.

Hold on! Egg cup

Hold on! is a concrete egg cup which can hold a spoon on a mag(net)ical way. Hold on! is part of a whole new generation of ceramic products made from a special kind of concrete - Quantz – engineered by G.tecz. A very environmental friendly material; ceramics made from concrete use up to 50 times less fossil fuels during the whole production process than traditional ceramics.
